- In smaller cities, verify whether a "national brand" centre is a franchise — faculty quality varies far more between franchises than between cities.
- If you are in a high-fee city, price an online programme plus a local library against the classroom. The gap can be ₹80,000.
- Fees for two-year foundation programmes are typically 1.6 to 1.8 times the one-year figure, not double.
- Ask what is excluded: test series, study material and interview modules are often billed separately.

Ask for the number of selections from that specific centre in the last two years, not the brand nationally. A Delhi brand's Kanpur franchise does not inherit the Delhi selection record, and most price complaints are really this confusion.
